Ghana have been monitoring the performances of Germany-based winger Kingsley Schindler as they consider his inclusion in the national set-up.

The 24-year-old, who has five goals and three assists in all competitions this season for Bundesliga second-division side Holstein Kiel, has been generating interest from Werder Bremen as well as Huddersfield.

His displays have not only opened up the possibility of a transfer to a bigger club but have gained the attention of Kwesi Appiah and the rest of his Black Stars technical team.

Able to play across the right side of the pitch, the pacy and versatile Schindler qualifies to represent four-time Africa Cup of Nations champions through his Ghanaian parents.

His ability to operate as a wing-back, right midfielder or further forward where he has played for much of the campaign makes the Hamburg-born player an attractive option to Appiah

Holstein Kiel currently top the 2. Bundesliga table on goal difference, with Schindler among their standout performers.
