While the Porcupine Warriors will not be in action on Sunday, their rivals' title ambitions will be put to the test in Accra

With the Ghana Premier League on a one-month break, the FA Cup takes centre stage on Sunday with the quarter-final round of games.

There will be only three semi-final tickets up for grabs this weekend as Asante Kotoko's fixture with Division One outfit NEA Salamina has been rescheduled.

On the back of the Porcupine Warriors' fatal accident earlier this month, a medical report says players of the Kumasi-based side are currently unfit to take to the pitch.

Wa All Stars’ home clash with Berekum Chelsea at the Malik Jabir Park, unarguably, headlines Sunday's round of matches.

Not only do both teams play in the elite division but also currently sit just a point apart on the league table.

Reigning Ghana Premier League champions All Stars beat lower tier side Samartex 2-1 in the last 16 whereas Chelsea thrashed fellow top tier side Bechem United 4-0.

In other games, Hearts of Oak will be favourites when they lock horns with Divison One club Danbort at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Phobians picked a slim 1-0 triumph over Young Wise FC to reach the quarter-finals. Danbort, on the other hand, beat top tier side Liberty Professionals 9-8 on penalties following a 1-1 draw.

Medeama will hope to beat Division One club Amidaus Professionals to draw closer to making it a hat-trick of FA Cup titles after victories in 2013 and 2015.

The Yellow and Mauves, who play at home on Sunday, beat Elmina Sharks 1-0 in the round of 16 as Amidaus stunned elite division outfit Wafa 1-0.
