The Black Stars midfielder who recently joined the Allsvenskan believes he’s number one in the league

Ghana international and former Arsenal youth product Emmanuel Frimpong claims there is no player bigger than him in the Swedish top-flight.

The 25-year-old signed a two-year contract with AFC Eskilstuna from Russian club Arsenal Tula as a free agent on Tuesday, insisting that his former teammate Kim Kallstrom, who recently joined Djurgardens IF from Dutch side Grasshopper in the league’s biggest transfer deal does not come even close.

"I know nothing really about the players in the Swedish Allsvenskan but I know that there's no one here like Frimpong," he told Aftonbladet.com.

"Name a player who is bigger than Frimpong? Okay, with all respect for Kim Kallstrom as a player, I met him at Spartak Moscow and he is a great player but he is not like Frimpong. There is just one Emmanuel Frimpong," he added.

Frimpong has not completed a full season with a club since his departure from Arsenal in 2014. He has played at Barnsley, Ufa, Charlton Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

He is expected to make his debut for Eskilstuna against Malmo FF on March 23.
