Frank Ouna: The referee was biased against Wazito FC

Wazito FC coach Frank Ouna has blamed the referee for spoiling otherwise a good game against AFC Leopards on Wednesday.

The promoted side had to finish the game with ten men following Kennedy Ayako's dismissal in the 54th minute. The tactician feels it could not have been the case, but he is happy with the fight his players put up against a well-drilled Ingwe side.

“The referee was soft on them, he spoiled the game through the decisions he made and they favoured them (Leopards). Even in the eighteen yard area I felt it was a soft penalty. It is a game of men and there must be contacts, and referees should put that into consideration.

“But we played well, Leopards expected an easy ride against us however, they learnt the hard way that it was never going to be as they expected, they should respect us next time,” Ouna told Goal.

Wazito has lost three of their last five games and drawn two while AFC Leopards have registered three straight wins under caretaker coach Dennis Kitambi.
