Former Harambee Stars goalkeeper and soccer legend Mahmoud Mohammed (no relationship with Mahamoud Abbas aka Kenya One) is dead.

According to reliable sources, Abbas died after a long illness on Tuesday and will be buried at 4pm at Allidina cemetery next to Coast General Hospital.

Abbas last year sent a plea to President Uhuru Kenyatta to help him attend medical treatment in India. The request was after President Uhuru donated Sh2million for medical expenses of another legend Joe Kadenge.
