Last season Matete scored on his debut when Bakgaga were still in the NFD but he’s hardly started since.  Aucho was a solid member of Gor Mahia's squad in 2015, where he helped the side to win the league title unbeaten.

The midfielder and his Uganda teammate Murushid Jjuuko will not be available against Ghana, when they make their bow in Group D on Tuesday, January 17 at the Port Gentil stadium in Gabon.

They are suspended following bookings in the qualifiers. Aucho's suspension is due to yellow cards received against Burkina Faso and Comoros.
