Football Kenya Federation have released a comprehensive list of players who changed clubs or adjusted their contracts in the just closed transfer window.
In the list obtained by Goal on Thursday, from the federation, a total of 255 players changed clubs (some renewed their contracts) in January while five moved from Kenyan Premier League to join clubs outside the country.
Notably, former Mathare United midfielder Eric Johanna has been confirmed at Swedish third tier side Vasalunds IF with the other outbound players being David King’atua, Simon Okwil, Jimmy Bageya, Lowo Godfrey, Gerald Bagoole and Ali Kimera.
Tusker, who will represent Kenya in the 2017 Caf Champions League competition, signed nine players, two from across the borders. Ugandan midfielder Moses Ndaula joined the club from Lweza FC while Abdul Hassan, a Tanzanian national, joined the Brewers from African Lyon FC.
Ulinzi Stars, who will also compete in Caf Confederation Cup tournament, introduced only two new players to their squad, including Alex Masinde, who has been promoted from their junior side and Baron Oketch, who joins from Gor Mahia (on loan).
