FKF President to miss 'Mashemeji' derby

Football Kenya Federation President Nick Mwendwa will not attend the 83rd edition of ‘Mashemeji’ derby pitting AFC Leopards against Gor Mahia on Sunday.

The federation boss is a real enthusiast of football and is used to physically attending matches at various stadia in the country but he has confirmed that he will not to be present at Nyayo Stadium today.

However, he has promised to follow the match on television probably to appreciate the fact that the clash will ‘exceptionally’ be live on screen even after SuperSport cut their ties with Kenyan Premier League Limited leaving the country’s top football in the dark.
