First match squads for Sofapaka and Muhoroni Youth

Sofapaka and Muhoroni Youth are playing their first league matches on Sunday

It is KPL Week 2 but Sofapaka and Muhoroni Youth will be setting foot on the pitch for the first time in 2017 after missing in action last weekend while at the Sports tribunal.

Wednesday ruling at the courts was the biggest news for them and they are now back in the league with the aim of challenging for the title.

A bit of adjustments have been made in Sofapaka’s technical bench bringing in new team manager Willis Waliaula in order to add some experience for the betterment of the team.

AFC Leopards name squad for Nakumatt match

They are meeting Sony Sugar at Afraha Stadium today (Sunday) while Muhoroni Youth are hosting newbies Kariobangi Sharks at Muhoroni Stadium.

Both Head coaches (Sam Ssimbwa for Sofapaka and James Omondi for Muhoroni Youth) have parade their line-ups for the respective duties.

One conspicuous thing is that Muhoroni Youth is composed of almost all new players save for a few who stuck with the team at a time when many players took off.

The match involving Muhoroni Youth will start at 3:00pm, 45 minutes before that of Sofapaka.
