The Nigeria international registered his maiden goal for the Green Crocodiles in the Turkish topflight and the defender is thrilled with the feat

William Troost-Ekong is delighted with his first goal for Bursaspor as they coasted to a 4-2 victory over Yeni Malatyaspor in Saturday’s Turkish Super Lig encounter.

The defender got the curtain raiser in the 12th minutes to help Paul Le Guen’s men get to a flying start in the game.

Pablo Martin Batalla increased the tally while DR Congo’s Jires Kembo-Ekoko and Bogdan Stancu’s goals took the game beyond their hosts.

A belated attempt to fight back from Khalid Boutaib and Emanuel Dening proved futile as Bursaspor cruised to victory in the challenge.

The former Gent player has taken to the social media express his delight at his maiden goal.
