The Morocco international was a target for the European sides in August but rejected their bids, according to his agent

Sofiane Boufal’s agent, Yvan Le Mee revealed that the Southampton man attracted interests from Inter Milan, Fiorentina and Celta Vigo during the summer transfer window.

Boufal has struggled to establish himself in Mauricio Pellegrino’s side this campaign and has made five English Premier League appearances, coming off the bench four times.

But Le Mee disclosed that the 24-year-old is now happy at the St. Mary’s Satdium after scoring his maiden goal of the season - a stunner against West Brom last week.

"He feels good now, he's just waiting to play more," Yvan Le Mee told TalkSport.

"In August we had clubs like Inter, Fiorentina and Celta Vigo, who know what they're doing when it comes to buying players, who all wanted to buy him at any cost.

"Southampton said no though, and now he's proving he's someone who can win points."
