Muhoroni Youth, Sofapaka and Thika United will know their league fate on Thursday

The three KPL clubs, Muhoroni Youth, Sofapaka and Thika United, which were ‘relegated’ for failing to comply with the Caf Club Licensing requirements , will have an uneasy day as they wait for final decision from Football Kenya Federation after resubmitting their papers for consideration.

A letter from the federation obtained by Goal on Wednesday has confirmed that the verdict on whether the three clubs will be reinstated or not will be let known to the public by latest tomorrow (Thursday).

Here is the letter;

As you are aware Football Kenya Federation’s (FKF) Independent and Disciplinary Appeals Committee (IDAC) directed that the three aforementioned clubs, all of whom did not meet the club licensing threshold, be accorded a second chance to resubmit their documents, following their appeals.

Subsequently the clubs were given a total of three working days beginning Friday, January 27, 2016 to Tuesday, January 31, 2016 to resubmit their documents.

Once the process is concluded FKF will hold a press briefing and/or issue a statement on the way forward in regard to the issue at hand.

The venue and time of the press briefing will be communicated in due course.
