FIFA 18 demo: The 13 teams you can play with & full details on Xbox One and PS4 release

FIFA 18's demo will be released across Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on Tuesday, a little over a fortnight before the football sim's global release.

The demo will have 13 teams to choose from, including Champions League winners Real Madrid, Premier League table toppers Manchester United and Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

There will also be four stadiums to play the shortened matches for users heading up to the full release on September 29.

Gamers also get a first look at the second chapter of Alex Hunter's story, The Journey: Hunter Returns, which is a sequel to the popular story mode from FIFA 17.

Goal sat down with gameplay producer Sam Rivera on Monday , who revealed some of the new features for the game including revamped crossing and a change in how attributes affect player performance.

Diehard FIFA fans will have to wait for the full release to experience features such as Ultimate Team or playing with Icons like Pele, Diego Maradona and Ronaldinho .

EA Sports unveiled its top 100 players over the past week , with Manchester City playmaker Bernardo Silva kicking off the rankings in 100th place.

Cristiano Ronaldo - the favourite to win the Ballon d'Or - has been named the best player in the latest FIFA edition with an overall rating of 94.

The Real Madrid star also features on the cover of the game and has been included in the storyline of Alex Hunter's career in The Journey.

Lionel Messi has claimed second place with a player rating on 93, while Luis Suarez and former team-mate Neymar claim joint third with 92 ratings. 

Bayern Munich shot-stopper Manuel Neuer is the highest-rated goalkeeper also with a score of 92.
