Feyenoord v Napoli: Visitors to do their part in thrilling victory over Dutch champions

The Partenopei need to win to stand any chance of Champions League progression, and Al Hain-Cole is backing the Italians' attack to see them home

Napoli will be hoping to snatch a place in the Champions League knockout stages when they travel to De Kuip to take on Feyenoord on Wednesday.

Three points adrift of second-placed Shakhtar Donetsk with one game left to play, the Partenopei are available at 3/10 (1.30) with bet365 to claim a victory that would see them progress should Manchester City also win in Ukraine.

Already consigned to bottom spot in Group F after losing all five of their matches, Giovanni Van Bronckhorst's men are on offer at 10/1 (11.00) to go out on a high by pulling off a shock victory.

Just two of the guests' 22 matches in all competitions this season have resulted in draws, but you can get odds of 5/1 (6.00) on them being held to a stalemate in this one.

Considering their excellent form in Serie A, it is something of a surprise that Maurizio Sarri's team are now forced to rely on other results in order to book their place in the last 16.

Despite putting in creditable yet ultimately losing performances in both matches against Manchester City, the damage to their chances of progression was really done in an opening 2-1 defeat away to Shakhtar Donetsk.

Although a trip to Rotterdam is considerably less daunting than the long journey to Ukraine, the Italians' record in away matches does offer some cause for concern as they have lost three of their last four Champions League matches on the road.

Whilst they will still fancy their chances of overcoming a poor Dutch side, the fact they have kept just one clean sheet in 13 away games in this competition does not suggest it will be all plain sailing.

Indeed, odds of 4/5 (1.80) seem generous on a Feyernoord team under no pressure joining Napoli on the scoresheet, having only failed to score against Manchester City in Group F.
