The gaffer was left unimpressed with the result at the Agege Stadium as the Anambra Warriors suffered their second defeat of the season

FC IfeanyiUbah coach Ladan Bosso rues the 'costly mistakes' that saw his side lose 2-1 to MFM in Wednesday's Nigeria Professional Football League encounter.

The Anambra Warriors bowed to the Olukoya Boys after conceding first-half goals from Jesse Akila and an own goal by Issif Traore.

And the former El Kanemi Warriors boss accuses his team of carelessness, which led to their loss.

"We made some costly mistakes during the game," Bosso told Goal .

"The two goals were careless goals against us. The goals were not something they really work for but we conceded the goals and we lost.

"However, we take the defeat and we will take the positives out of it."

The Anambra Warriors visited Agege Stadium without Godwin Obaje who has scored in every game this season, and the gaffer admits that they missed him.

"We missed him [Obaje] but even without him, we planned how we wanted to play," he continued.

"He wanted to play this match but I had to rest him because we have other players on ground and those that came in did a good job."

In November 2017, Bosso took over from Ghanaian tactician Yaw Preko and the former Nigeria U20 handler explains his plans to rebuild the Nnewi-based outfit.

"My philosophy is to reconcile the old players and the management then restructure the team entirely.

"With our performance, I think there is progress in our work. We are always improving in every match and I'm impressed with team's performance.

"The idea is; it takes a coach just few training sessions to change the players' mentality, attitude and confidence which [in turn] helps to build the team."
