The reigning Telkom Knockout Cup champions have announced the signing of the 22-year-old midfielder

Cape Town City  have announced the signing of Siyabonga Dubula from FC Cape Town .

The midfielder has been playing at the National First Division (NFD) side since the 2015/2016 season.

City took to twitter to confirm their latest addition.

'Chicco' as the player is more affectionately known, is the Mother City-based club’s third addition of the 2016/2017 January Transfer Window.

Furthermore, Raphael Georgiades was promoted to the City first team and Edmilson Dove was signed from Mozambican club Ferroviario Maputo in January.

The Citizens will hope that the new additions will bolster Eric Tinkler’s squad as they remain in PSL title contention with the club sitting in joint first place on the league table.

City will resume their campaign on February 7 when they take on relegation contenders, Highlands Park.
