Toyota Asian Player of the Week

The 28-year-old Syrian striker was in his element against Al Ain on 11th April in a Group C encounter. With his team falling behind twice, it was the Syrian international who brought his side back into the game twice. Once with a precise header from a corner while the other a clinical volley from the edge of the area in the 89th minute.

It seems the fans have warmed to the Syrian's impressive performance by voting him the Player of the week. Al Soma bagged a commendable 56% of the votes cast while Everton Ribeiro and Ko Seung-Beom were able to garner just 22% votes each.

Well done, Omar Al Soma!
