The South Africa youth international has found game time hard to come by, and he is set for a move to his home province

SuperSport United striker Fagrie Lakay is set to complete a loan move to Ajax Cape Town in the current window period, according to Timeslive

He has been seen training with the Urban Warriors for several weeks, and it’s certain he will be announced as one of the club's signings in the near future.

The 20-year-old was playing second fiddle to Jeremy Brockie at United following his arrival in 2015, starting only seven matches in his two-and-a-half seasons with no goals to his name.

Following the arrival of Muhsin Ertugral as head coach, the Capetonians have been busy in the transfer market as they look to strengthen their squad to move away from the relegation zone.

To date, they have unveiled former Orlando Pirates striker Tendai Ndoro, Gerald Takawara from Zimbabwean club FC Platinum and Muzi Thabotha from Highlands Park.

The Urban Warriors are in the relegation dogfight, and are lying second from bottom, two points ahead of bottom-placed Bidvest Wits.

They restart their campaign at home to Maritzburg United on Friday, as they are in desperate need of points to climb up the table.
