The 2016/17 Premier Soccer League (PSL) season came to an end on Saturday afternoon, with a number of surprises across the country.
Kaizer Chiefs formed a guard of honour for newly-crowned PSL champions Bidvest Wits at the FNB Stadium, and despite their 1-0 win on the day, social media were abuzz, finding it funny how the tables have turned.

As if there wasn't enough drama at the Calabash, a famous Orlando Pirates fan, was spotted supporting the Clever Boys. Perhaps because Pirates were almost certain to finish outside the top for the first time since 1987. Has this prominent fan dumped the Buccaneers for Wits?
Well, who can blame her? Almost every Pirates supporter is disappointed with the team's overall performance this season.
Football also had something to say about Highlands Park, who were relegated to the National First Division after a year in the elight league.
The final match of the PSL season will be on June 24 when Orlando Pirates take on SuperSport United in the Nedbank Cup final in Durban.
