South African football administrators have been rewarded by the new Caf led by Ahmad Ahmad, and Janine Van Wyk hails the rise of SA ladies soccer

Janine Van Wyk joined American club, Houston Dash at the beginning of the season.

Former U-20 SA captain Amogelang Motau is the next American recruit, moving to Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma.

Then there's more South African lady stars moving abroad. Safa junior defenders Caryn van Ryneveld and Jamie Lee Witbooi will join IBV in Iceland. 

Other South Africans Lerato Kgasago, Antonia Carelse and Rose Jijane have already played in Iceland. You can read Van Wyk's Tweet where she hopes SA ladies soccer is going to grow from strength to strength with the experiences abroad.

In other social media news, Zambian legend Kalusha Bwalya has been named the development and technical chairman for Caf. You can read his Tweet after being named on Monday.

Safa President Dr Danny Jordaan has been named Caf's President of the Marketing and TV Committee.
