The Premier Soccer League (PSL) will observe a moment of silence to honour the women and children who have been killed violently by men

The PSL released the following statement:

"The recent spate of femicide, rape and violent deaths towards women and children cannot be ignored. It is in this spirit that the PSL speaks against this brutal behavior by men.

"In bringing support and awareness to South Africa and the world we use our captains and players to say #Not In My Name!

"This will apply to all the Absa Premiership block fixtures to be played on 27 May 2017."

Here follows the Twitter reaction in South Africa and how we can all support the cause by spreading the word.
