EXTRA TIME: Nigeria’s Leon Balogun and Alhaji Gero start holiday in Spain

The Nigeria duo took a trip to the Southwestern part of Europe to unwind before resuming to their respective clubs for the start of their pre-seasons

Mainz’s Leon Balogun and Östersunds FK’s Alhaji Gero both chose an enthralling destination but different locations fizzing with life to enjoy their summer vacation in Spain.

Balogun who was missing in Nigeria’s 2-0 defeat to South on Saturday after suffering an injury in Mainz’s last game for the season, is lounging in Ibiza.

The Super Eagles defender joined the list of elite footballers which include Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Alvaro Morata who have chosen to relax in the island located in the Mediterranean sea.

Meanwhile, Alhaji Gero is obviously enjoying nature in one of Spain's balearic islands in the Mediterranean, located in Mallorca.

The 23-year-old who joined Ostersunds in January shared pictures of him enjoying the beautiful view of the port d'Alcudia beach in Mallorca.

Gero netted two times in 10 games for the Graham Potter's men who finished third in the Allsvenskan log.
