The 22-year-old midfielder surprisingly joined Dikwena on a short-term loan deal from Bucs during the recent January transfer window which closed earlier this week.
Norodien started for Pirates as they secured a 2-0 victory over Stars in a league game which was played at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium last weekend.
However, the Soweto giants decided to loan out Norodien, who reunited with coach Roger De Sa at the North West-based outfit. The attacking midfielder was part of the Ajax Cape Town team that De Sa guided to the 2015 MTN8 Cup triumph.
The Cape Town-born winger walked straight into the Stars starting line-up and he repaid De Sa's faith in him by scoring twice to ensure that Dikwena held Chippa United to a 3-3 draw in Port Elizabeth.
Here is how Twitter reacted to the talented winger's brace:
Riyard Norodien is the most underrated player in South Africa. This guy has so much potential. The other man who doesn't get the respect he deserves is Gavin Hunt. By all means he should be the coach of Bafana Bafana. I wish he was Zambian so that he tutors our Chipolopolo. — Mubanga Martin (@mubangamartin) February 4, 2018
Michy leaves Chelsea for Dortmund and scores a brace on debut. Norodien leaves Pirates for Dikwena and scores a brace on debut. Common factor between them is that they were never given a proper chance to prove themselves at their parent clubs. — Kamogelo Masoabi ™ (@Toolkit_SA) February 4, 2018
Norodien with a man of the match performance, dankie boy!!!!— Platinum Stars (@PlatinumStarsFC) February 4, 2018
Norodien was rarely fit for Pirates and his injuries were not just small knocks, he will get game time ko Stars and come back a better player its okay. — Champ Champ Tshepo (@FootballTshepo) February 4, 2018
They can change that. He can't do it singlehandedly, but Norodien's loan-spell will inject some positive energy into the team. Like he's already done today. — Maphitha! (@SenzelumusaSeth) February 4, 2018
