The Black Stars captain has opened up on musicians who impressed him in the just ended year

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has revealed top four musicians who caught his eye in 2017, following their incredible performance in the year under review.

The 32-year-old, who won the Best High Life song of the year accolade in 2010 and 2014 with Castro at the Ghana Music Awards, believes Dancehall king Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Samini performed incredibly better than others.

“For the year 2017, those who have been very consistent in music, honestly, I am going for Livingstone Etse Satekla (Stonebwoy), Michael Owusu Addo (Sarkodie), Samini and Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr (Shatta Wale),” Gyan said, as quoted by Ghanaweb.

“They have done enough to help the industry and I think they deserve the praise. I believe they will continue in the New Year and make everybody happy,” he added.

Goal understands that Shatta and Gyan are preparing to release a song after setting up his Baby Jet band.
