EXTRA TIME: 'Eymael will unleash black belt moves' - fans react to PSL DRC's decision

Football fans have warned the PSL and Polokwane City not to push Eymael too far if they don't want to see his 'black belt moves'

The PSL Despute Resolution Chamber's decision to order Luc Eymael back to Polokwane City hasn't sat well with the majority of South African football fans, who feel the Belgian mentor should be allowed to coach a team of his choice.

Eymael resigned as head coach of Rise and Shine, before joining Bloemfontein Celtic on a two-and-a-half-year deal in March.

However, Polokwane City approached the PSL DRC with a grievance against Eymael, and the league ruled in their favour.

Eymael previously revealed that he has a black belt in karate. This was after City officials denied him access to the dressing rooms on his return to the Peter Mokaba Stadium earlier this month (April).

"Everyone saw what happened (at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium). The video is everywhere. It shows the intentions of some people there‚ deliberate aggression on behalf of somebody. I have been scratched," Eymael told the media after that game.

"They pushed me and they tried to punch me. They tried all sorts of things. I made a big mistake of not reacting. I am happy for that. Thank God for that because I can fight.

"I have a black belt in karate. I am not scared of anybody, but I made a promise to my wife that I wouldn’t fight," he said.

And Twitter didn't take kindly to the PSL DRC's decision, and what followed was a series of angry reactions in support of the 57-year-old.

Bloemfontein Celtic have since confirmed that Eymael will appeal the judgement.
