EXTRA TIME: Benni McCarthy's crew get heated during the Uefa Champions League quarters

The former Blackburn Rovers and Porto striker is calling the SuperSport panel 'my crew'. Well, his crew had a lot to debate this midweek

The main thing McCarthy did with 'his' crew was annoy Samuel Kuffour with the way he celebrated every Real Madrid goal.

Ghanaian legend Kuffour is a former Bayern Munich player, so we know who his heart beats for.

Kuffour couldn't hide his disappointment as Real were awarded two off-side goals, Arturo Vidal received a second yellow card for winning the ball and Robert Lewandowski was incorrectly called off-side when through on goal.

Real Madrid ended up beating Bayern Munich in extra-time thanks to the favourable decisions.

As usual John Barnes tried to calm things down with his reasoning, and pointed out that attackers will always celebrate goals.

The Liverpool legend also reminded McCarthy that Ronaldo is no longer a winger, but plays upfront these days.

Benni was a good sport on television, taking the rough with the smooth, and that's why he's always popular with the fans.
