Everton’s Yannick Bolasie resumes light training after injury

The DR Congo international is back in training as he gears up for a return to action with the Toffees after spending nine months on the sidelines

Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has resumed light training as he continues his road to recovery following his cruciate knee ligament injury that he suffered in December 2016.

The 27-year-old who joined the Goodison Park outfit in the summer of 2016 from Crystal Palace limped off in the Merseysiders 1-1 draw against Manchester United on December 4, 2016.

However, the winger who was ruled out for up to 12 months looks to be set for a return to action earlier than anticipated, with the winger posting a video of himself on his social media page.

This will come as a much-needed boost to manager Ronald Koeman whose team has had a stuttering start to the campaign.
