Euro 2016 mascot dab dances during Northern Ireland anthem

Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard have used the dance whilst celebrating, but one mascot took it a step further in Tuesday's clash


It’s not just footballers who are now part of the ‘dab’ dance craze.

Earlier this season, the hip-hop move which originated in the United States eventually found its way to Europe with Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba using it to celebrate their goals.

But just as the camera panned across the Northern Ireland players singing God Save The Queen ahead of their Euro 2016 clash with Germany, one mascot was spotted doing the dance in the background.

NBA star LeBron James, NFL quarterback Cam Newton and tennis’ Victoria Azarenka have also busted out the move in the past year.
