The Sai Masu Gida boy says he is ready to lead his side out against his former team at the U.J. Esuene Stadium on Sunday

Kano Pillars defender Aloma Idris has declared that his side is aiming for maximum points and asks Enyimba to be ready for war in Calabar on Sunday.

Despite securing a 3-1 first leg win over the People's Elephants, the Sai Masu Gida man admits the clash will be tough but assures they put up a good display at the UJ Esuene Stadium.

Apart from huge intent to upset the hosts, Idris relishes hopes of reuniting with his former colleagues, fans, and coaches of the Aba giants.

"Going to Enyimba, I believe it will be a big match between both of us," Idris told Goal.

"30 percent of the players that left Enyimba are now in Kano Pillars. I remembered when they came to Kano in the first leg it was very tough and interesting match. So, I expect the match will be the same way in Calabar.

"The match is going to be war and they should be ready for war with us. We are going there to fight and I'm confident we will get something at the end of the match.

"It will be a challenge to me playing against my former team (Enyimba). I left them to Rivers United before joining Kano Pillars.

"Going back to play against them again is just normal like for many Nigerian players. I will go there to play my normal football and hope at the end of 90 minutes we can get at least a point from the match.

"After the match, there will be a great joy for me seeing the Aba fans again. It will be fun for me because I will be happy to see my former teammates and coaches again."
