Emmanuel Adebayor was on target for Istanbul Basaksehir in their 3-2 win over Fenerbahce in a Turkish Super Lig encounter on Saturday.

Ghanaian Joseph Attamah opened the scoring for the visitors just two minutes into the game.

And the Togo international doubled the Fatih Terim Stadium outfit’s lead three minutes after the half hour mark.

However, Morocco’s Nabil Dirar halved the deficit for the hosts in the 43rd minute before Martin Skrtel restored parity with 12 minutes left to play.

But Abdullah Avci’s men grabbed the winner in additional time courtesy Kerim Frei to seal their third win of the season.

Istanbul Basaksehir now sit third in the Turkish topflight log and will host Ludogorets Razgrad in a Uefa Europa League tie on Thursday.
