Adebayor scores in Istanbul Basaksehir's win over Fenerbahce

The 33-year-old forward got on the scoresheet for Basaksehir in their victory over the Yellow Canaries at the Ulker Stadium

Emmanuel Adebayor was on target for Istanbul Basaksehir in their 3-2 win over Fenerbahce in a Turkish Super Lig encounter on Saturday.

And the Togo international doubled the Fatih Terim Stadium outfit’s lead three minutes after the half hour mark.

However, Morocco’s Nabil Dirar halved the deficit for the hosts in the 43rd minute before Martin Skrtel restored parity with 12 minutes left to play.

Istanbul Basaksehir now sit third in the Turkish topflight log and will host Ludogorets Razgrad in a Uefa Europa League tie on Thursday.
