Borussia Dortmund find themselves in the final of the German Cup for a record fourth successive season, and Thomas Tuchel's side are the overwhelming favorites to triumph on Saturday.
Dortmund face an Eintracht Frankfurt side into their first cup final in 11 years and one who beat them when they met in the Bundesliga back in November. On that occasion Eintracht won 2-1, although BVB won the most recent league meeting 3-1 a month ago and Tuchel's men can be backed at 2/5 (1.40) with dabblebet to win in 90 minutes.
Perhaps Dortmund's greater experience on the big stage could play a part, and having dispatched Bayern Munich in impressive fashion in the semi final, Tuchel's men will feel they are more than capable of defeating their inexperienced, unfancied opponents.
The price outright for Dortmund to win is probably too short for our purposes although when combined with over 2.5 goals in the game, the odds rise to a healthy looking 21/20 (2.05).
In the Bundesliga, 14 of Dortmund's 18 victories came in game with three goals or more (including the most recent meeting against Eintracht), while their last two games in the cup have seen over 2.5 goals.
Meanwhile, five of Eintracht's last seven league games of the season saw more than three goals scored, with the side conceding at least two goals in each of their last three matches. Dortmund, of course, are a free-scoring side and in the Bundesliga their matches averaged 3.29 goals this term.
Meanwhile in the Champions League Dortmund, are the second top scorers in the competition despite exiting the tournament in the quarter finals and their 28 goals in 10 games in a testament to their attacking prowess. Another high-scoring game looks likely in the final and Dortmund should be strong enough to lift the trophy once more.
