Egypt’s Zamalek SC sign Mohamed Ramadan

The White Knights continue to strengthen the team...

Egyptian giant Zamalek SC has signed 26-year-old Mohamed Ramadan from Petrojet FC after a long and drawn-out negotiation process.

Ramadan, who plays in an attacking midfielder role, joined Petrojet FC in 2015.

Zamalek was suffering from a lack of a quality up front after the departures of Stanley Ohawuchi, Mostafa Fathi and Kahraba.

Stanley had earlier returned to Wadi Degla after a one-year loan to Zamalek, before joining Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadisiyah.

Mostafa Fathi also moved to the Saudi league after signing for Al-Taawoun, while Kahraba has extended his loan at Al Ittihad.

Things aren't rosy at White Knights' end at the moment as they have been suffering setbacks throughout the season. They finished third last season and dropped out of the CAF Champions League and Egypt Cup.
