Egyptian International Amr Warda has joined Portuguese Primeira Liga side, CD Feirense. The 23-year-old was linked with moves to clubs in Spain, Switzerland and England this summer.
Warda has joined the Portuguese club from Greece’s PAOK on a one-year loan deal worth €1.25 million.
In the opening game of the Primeira Liga, CD Feirense drew 1-1 against Tondela.
Warda started his journey in Europe by joining Greek side Panetolikos in the Superleague Greece from Egyptian giants Al-Ahly in August 2015 on a transfer deal worth €100,000.
In January 2017, the Egyptian international moved to PAOK for €900,000. He went on to play in the Europa League while at the club.
