The world's best-selling football video game will feature some of the greatest players ever to play the game, including Brazilian Ronaldo

EA Sports have unveiled the newest FIFA 18 Icons, with Thierry Henry, Lev Yashin, Pele and Diego Maradona joining Brazilian legend Ronaldo in what is fast becoming a star-studded team.

Ronaldo anoints Portugal heir

The 'original' Ronaldo is the poster boy of the new Icons — replacing Legends, and available on PS4, Xbox One and PC — but EA announced the next crop on Monday.

Players can now salivate over the prospect of putting the two great rivals of Pele and Maradona in the same team, with Arsenal legend Henry potentially spearheading the attack alongside Ronaldo.

Former USSR superstar Yashin, known as the Black Spider and widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers ever to play the game, even dons his iconic flat cap in the game.

Ultimate Team players will be able to get their hands on the Icons on September 29 worldwide!
