According to Wome's agent, Michael Ngobeni, the attacker will remain at Matsatsantsa unless there's a breakthrough in talks between the two clubs.
"He's back at SuperSport as you know he's still contracted to them," Ngobeni told Goal.
"He's going to fight for his place unless something happens [in the next few weeks]," he said.
Wome enjoyed his brief spell at the Soweto giants, netting four times for them in what was a disappointing campaign for Kjell Jonevret's side.
Prior to the Nedbank Cup final last month, Wome indicated that he wanted to remain at Pirates, but he understood that his fate would be decided by his parent club.
