The Solid Miners’ coach has explained that he has overcome the dastard armed robbery attack on his family and now ready for Plateau United.

Nasarawa United’s coach, Kabiru Dogo says he has overcome the trauma of the armed robbery attack on his family hours before their home win over Enyimba last week and that he is fully focused on leading the Solid Miners to a respectable result against Plateau United in Jos on Wednesday.

Dogo explained that even though it was difficult getting rid of the unfortunate experience he had to handle the situation in a professional manner.

“It was a tough time forgetting about what transpired in Ilorin. I was shattered when I heard about it some hours before the game with Enyimba. I had to forget about it temporarily till the end of the match which we won. I have gone to see my family and my wife that was wounded has recovered now,” Dogo told Goal.

“One work requires 100 percent attention and that won’t be possible if I continue to dwell on what happened in Ilorin. We have a game against Plateau United and we want to give them a good run for their money. I have told my players on the need to be fully focused on the match and we are going with the mindset of getting at least a draw in Jos," he concluded.
