The Belgium duo were serving up Big Macs as they enjoyed international duty back in their home country this week

Footballers usually kick back and take it easy on their days off, but Romelu Lukaku and Jan Vertonghen found work of a different kind to keep themselves busy. 

Hazard to miss start of Chelsea season

The Belgium pair are back in their native country on international duty, ahead of clashes against the Czech Republic and Estonia. 

And they delighted local McDonalds fans by putting in a shift at the ubiquitous fast-food restaurant. 

Vertonghen snapped the pair's unorthodox career switch on his Instagram, showing himself and Lukaku taking orders at the counter and posing for a selfie back in the kitchen.

By all accounts, they made as good a team serving up Big Macs as they do on the pitch for Roberto Martinez's side!
