Diego Costa returns for his 100th Chelsea appearance

The Blues striker's return against Hull City marks his century of games at the west London club as he re-enters the starting line-up

Diego Costa will play his 100th game for Chelsea against Hull City in the Premier League on Sunday.

The 28-year-old missed his side's 3-0 victory over Leicester City last weekend after a back injury, amid a row over his contract after a bid from Chinese Super League club, Tianjin Quanjian.

Chelsea are five points clear at the top the Premier League table ahead of the match after Arsenal's last minute victory over Burnley, while Alexis Sanchez's penalty put him ahead of Costa in the race for the league's golden boot.

Costa has scored 50 goals in his 99 games for the club so far, and starts as Antonio Conte sticks with his regular starting line-up to face the relegation strugglers.
