Defeating Kano Pillars won't be easy, says Remo Stars’ Osho

Remo Stars head coach Fatai Osho is setting his sights on victory but admits defeating Kano Pillars will not be ‘a child’s play’ on Wednesday.

The Sagamu based side are yet to secure a win in two last games managing 1-1 draws against Lobi Stars and Shooting Stars under Osho since he replaced Nduka Ugbade.

But the tactician believes his side’s recent draw against the Oluyole Warriors will be a huge motivation facing the four-time NPFL kings for the first time in a Week 11 encounter in Sagamu.

"The draw at Ibadan is a good motivating factor,” Osho told media.

“It helped our confidence and will make it known to our players that we can actually do it, we are playing Kano Pillars at the right time.

"We need to start getting points now. If we can get a point on the road then it means we should be more comfortable but a lot of hard will be done because beating Pillars won't be a child's play.

"We will create a level playing field where a player who is ready to play will be greatly encouraged and don't be surprised seeing some new faces against them."

Remo Stars are bottom of the log with eight points from 10 matches played so far.
