David Accam scores third goal in MLS

The Ghana midfielder was on the score sheet for Chicago Fire in their draw against LA Galaxy on Sunday

David Accam scored from the penalty spot for Chicago Fire in a 2-2 draw with LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

It was the third goal for the Ghanaian star this year.

He opened the scoring from the spot on 13 minutes for the Fire inside the StubHub Centre before giving an assist to Nemanja Nikolic three minutes later for 2-0.

The hosts came back into the second half stronger and scored via Daniel Steres on 56 minutes. Giovani Dos Santos equalised on 65 minutes.

Accam has made nine appearances this season, seven of those from the start.
