David Accam scores, grabs assist in Chicago Fire win against Seattle Sounders

The Ghanaian midfielder scored his fourth goal and fourth assists in eight matches for the Illinois-based team in the MLS on Sunday

David Accam was on target for Chicago Fire as they defeated Seattle Sounders 4-1 at the Toyota Park on Sunday evening.

He also set up an assist for team-mate Nemanja Nikolic in the big win.

It was the 26-year-old Ghana international’s fourth goal as well as fourth assist after eight matches in the 2017 Major League Soccer season.

Accam’s previous goals had come against LA Galaxy, Toronto FC and Columbus Crew.

Only Nikolic, with eight goals, has scored more for the Fire this season than Accam.
