Hearts of Oak striker Cosmos Dauda says their target of winning the Ghana Premier League title this season is still on course following their recent showing in the campaign.
The Phobians went five games without a win in their first six games, mounting pressure on the technical staff, but they were able to reverse the tides in their last eight games to move up to third position, six points behind leaders Wafa.
“Of course, we are all dreaming of being crowned champions and that is possible and with how we perform in the first round, I know we have the team to challenge for the league title," Dauda told Graphic Sports.
"And we are ready to take every match at a time and treat it important. Coach Frank Nuttall has also been instrumental in our recent impressive form and he will be the one to win the title for us,” he added.
Hearts will welcome second-tier side Kotoku Royals this weekend at the Accra Sports Stadium in the round 32 of the FA Cup as the league goes into a two-week break.
