The forward has hit the ground running since his temporary switch to the Russian outfit and is looking forward his first competitive tie

Ahmed Musa is battle ready for CSKA Moscow’s Europa League clash with Crvena Zvezda at the Stadion Rajko Mitic on Tuesday.

The Nigeria international has hit the ground running since he rejoined the club on loan from Leicester City during the January transfer window.

The forward scored a goal on his return to the Red-blues against Nordsjælland and then bagged a brace as CSKA thumped Elche 3-0 - both friendly encounters.

And the 25-year-old is looking forward to making his first competitive appearance for Viktor Goncharenko's men since he moved back to the club.

“Let the game start,” Musa posted on Instagram.

Prior to his departure from the VEB Arena to the Leicester City, the speedster scored six goals in 26 continental outings.
