Crystal Palace’s Zaha nominated for English Premier League player of the month

The 25-year-old’s impressive performances for the Eagles in October has earned him a nomination for the best player in the English top flight

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has been nominated for the English Premier League player of the month for October.

The Cote d’Ivoire has put up stellar displays since his return from a knee injury last month, netting the winner in the 2-1 triumph over Chelsea on October 14 to hand the Eagles their first points of the season.

And he again proved to be the savior for Roy Hodgson’s side with his 97th minute leveller against West Ham United saving the Selhurst Park outfit from suffering a ninth loss in ten games in the English top flight.

Those performances have not gone under the radar as the former Manchester United man was nominated alongside Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sane (Manchester City), Nacho Monreal (Arsenal), Glen Murray (Brighton and Hove Albion), Nick Pope ( Burnley).
