All four teams grouped in Ilorin could not register their names on the scorer’s sheet as all games ended in deadlocks

Bauchi 0-0 Abuja

It was a goalless affair as Fariah Foundation, Bauchi held Fosla Academy, Abuja to a 0-0 draw in the first encounter of the Ilorin regional finals.

Abubakar Galadima’s brilliance kept their Abuja counterparts at bay with strings of daring saves that made sure both sides shared the spoils at the end of regular time.

Abeeb Kazeem’s stood out for the Gilbert Igwe’s boys who saw more of the ball in the encounter but could not convert their chances past Galadima.

Both sides have one point each and will look forward to securing maximum points in their next fixtures on Wednesday.

Plateau 0-0 Nasarawa

Government Secondary School Kabwir, Plateau settled to share points with Government Secondary School Uke, Nasarawa in the second game of the day which ended 0-0.

Both sides found it difficult to score the winning goal and pick up maximum points in what could be described as a fierce encounter which tested their physicality and tactical skills.

Patrick Nantawe had the clearest chance of the game for the Plateau outfit but had his 25th minute free-kick denied by the woodwork.
