The goalkeeper blames his side's tactics for their poor start in the U15 schools' championship in Lagos

Fosla Academy's Moses Aluko wasn't satisfied with his side shaky start in the ongoing 2017 Copa Coca-Cola U15 competition at the CMS Grammar School, Lagos.

Adaji Timothy handed the boys from Abuja the lead in the first half of the game with a superb shot from a solo run, but Enoch Emmanuel's equaliser ensured the Ilorin regional champions stalemated the academy boys in their national finals campaign on Monday afternoon.

And the goalkeeper reveals his side gained momentum after he charged up his players during the game, adding that they conceded the equaliser through mistakes from their goalkeeper.

"In the first half, we played defensive, we were running after the ball while our opponent from Osun state were doing all the playing," Aluko told Goal.

"But when I coordinated the team well, they got themselves well and we were able to get the first goal before the end of first half.

"When we came back for the second half, the game got tougher as both of us tried to get the best out of the game but they got the goal through a mistake from the goalkeeper."

Aluko also explained that he wasn't disappointed with his side's performance during the game, saying they listened to him as their leader on the pitch.
