Conte: Diego Costa should have brought me cake!

The Blues manager was none too pleased that his striker hit the press buffet at Stamford Bridge without thinking to share with him

Chelsea may be celebrating their Premier League title triumph, but there's still a bit of tension at Stamford Bridge.

Named on the bench as an experimental Blues side earned a 4-3 victory over Watford on Monday, striker Diego Costa ventured into the Stamford Bridge media room at half-time and sampled some chocolate cake from the buffet.

Asked about that curious development, manager Antonio Conte admonished his star striker — but not for the reason one might think.

"Which type of food did he have?" Conte enquired of the journalists when informed about Costa's visit to the press room.

"It is important, this... chocolate cake? In this case I am very angry with him. He must think to give me a bit of chocolate cake to share. I was suffering during the game. To eat a bit of cake or chocolate, that would be good.

"Next time I will tell him to think of me as well and share."

Costa ended up being an unused substitute in the match, which came three days after Chelsea clinched the Premier League crown with a 1-0 win against West Brom.
