The Phobians midfielder insists the referee was ‘biased’ during the Super Clash in Kumasi on Sunday

Hearts of Oak midfielder Winful Kwaku Cobbinah has slammed referee Emmanuel Dally Gagba, labelling his performance as ‘unfair’ after a 1-1 stalemate against Asante Kotoko in the Super Clash Kumasi on Sunday.

The Phobians took the lead through Kwame Kizito but Sadick Adams equalised from the spot to share the spoils.

Cobbinah was clearly frustrated at a point and was booked for his tackle on Emmanuel Gyamfi. He was also seen kicking the ball away in second half.

"You could see from the game that the referee was with Asante Kotoko. I will say without thinking twice," Cobbinah said.

"The penalty [he awarded them to equalise] was not a penalty but he just wanted a point for them and this is not good for Ghanaian football," he added.

Hearts have accumulated 40 points and sit third on the log, four points behind leaders Aduana Stars as the race for the league trophy heats up with six matches to end the season.
