Clinton N'Jie registered his name on the scoresheet in Olympique Marseille’s 9-0 thrashing of French Ligue 2 side Bourg en Bresse Peronnas in Tuesday’s Coupe de France’s duel.

Luiz Gustavo started the party for Rudi Garcia’s men in the tenth minute and three minutes later, Dimitri Payet doubled the lead.

Lucas Ocampos increased the scoreline with another strike in the 16th minute after benefitting from Konstantinos Mitroglou’s assist.

In the 20th minute, Konstantinos Mitroglou found the net and eight minutes after, he scored his second as Marseille went into the break with a 5-0 lead.

On resumption for the second half, the Phocians continued from where they stopped with Ocampos adding his second in the 71st minute and wrapped up his hat-trick three minutes later.

Mitroglou completed his treble nine minutes from full time and N'Jie put the icing on the cake from the penalty spot in the 89th minute.

Rudi Garcia's side have scored 15 goals in their last two matches, having beaten Metz 6-3 in Ligue 1 last Friday, and have netted 27 in all competitions in 2018.
