“The loss to Shooting Stars has taken us backward in our determination to get as many points as possible in the remaining league matches. We are back home and are preparing for the game with Kano Pillars. We have resolved to make our coaches proud at the end of the season by ensuring that we remain in the premier league at the end of the season,” Chukwudi told Goal.

“Pillars may come to Bauchi with the assurance that they are going to get a point but I want to let them know that we are better prepared than them. We have tasted how it was to be in the relegation zone and we do not want to go back there. We are ready to play with all we have got in order to win this game.”

Chukwudi is also optimistic of adding to the five goals he has scored already this season.
